Based in Montreal, I create images the way some people keep journals quietly, instinctively, and always looking for the truth inside a moment.
I’m drawn to scenes that feel unplanned: the way light falls without warning, the tension before a gesture, the emotion that appears for a second and disappears just as fast. Those are the moments I try to catch before they fade.
My work is deeply influenced by the atmosphere of films. I like when a photograph feels like it belongs to a larger story, as if it were a frame taken from a movie you haven’t seen yet but somehow recognize. Natural light, honest expressions, and a sense of mood guide everything I create.
I don’t chase perfection I chase feeling. If an image doesn’t make me stop for a second, if it doesn’t hold something real, I let it go. What matters to me is the energy behind the moment: the quiet, the tension, the softness, the rawness. The things you can’t stage.
Through my lens, I try to preserve the emotional traces that time usually erases. Every photograph is a way of saying: “this mattered.”
